About Post Truths
Post Truths takes what public figures post and reads between the lines.
How to read a post
Each post starts folded, exactly as it was published on X or Truth Social, word for word. Then it unfolds, and new lines open up inside it in a warm brown ink. The plain text is theirs. The brown text is ours.
How it's made
We follow Donald J. Trump, Elon Musk, JD Vance, Speaker Mike Johnson, The White House, Stephen Miller, Howard Lutnick and Scott Bessent. When one of them posts, the added lines are drafted and ranked by AI (Claude, made by Anthropic), which also looks up published sources for any factual claim. The strongest drafts are published automatically. A human editor reviews them afterward and swaps out or removes any that miss.
What stays fixed
We never change the original post: every word they wrote is still there, in order. The post cards are our own design, not screenshots, and carry no platform logos.
Sources and corrections
It's satire, but the facts underneath it should be right. Any specific factual claim in our lines is backed by a source listed under the post. Everything else is opinion, exaggeration and parody. If you think we got something wrong, write to hello@posttruths.com and we'll correct the post or take it down promptly.
